Hindi is highly phonetic; the pronunciation of any Hindi word can be reliably predicted from their written form which is in strong contrast to English.
I’m posting a series of practice worksheets to test the progress of
young ones as to understand how well they have understood the concept of Hindi
vowels (Swar) and Consonants (Vyanjans), Matras and the words.
It’s always better to have a group activity first to recapitulate what
they have learnt and then start with the practice sheets.
The kids have to pronounce the names of images related to each
alphabet/matra and have to connect the correct image.
I’m sure kids are familiar with all
the images, which are from the earlier worksheets posted here on the blog. e.g.
Pictorial varnamala, Swar Vyanjan matra,
shabd banao etc.
If you are visiting or following my blog and feel that the
worksheets are useful for your kids, please leave a comment. I would love to
have feedback. Happy teaching !!!
