Swar Vyanjan - Matra (O/Oo उ/ऊ )

This set of matras of O/Oo उ/ऊ is used with a difference. They are marked below the alphabet कु/कू …, while with the alphabet र it is marked like रु/रू.

Encourage kids to pronounce the words loudly while writing. The picture cards also come in handy in identifying the object and the letters.

Swar Vyanjan - Matra (Ie/Iee इ/ई )

Children avoid learning when it becomes stressful. At this level, their group learning is very effective. Encouragement and patience is the key to success. These pictorial worksheets are created keeping this fact in mind.

I have tried to include the words in the successive order. In the beginning, we introduce the matra  of A/Aa, so in the next, the list of words include the matra of A/Aa and the next set which is being introduced and so on...

The next set of matras are of  Ie/Iee b@bZ . After filling in the matra in the blank kids have to rewrite the word.

Swar Vyanjan - Matra ( Aa / आ )

Little kids are very sharp and observant. We can get their attention with colourful pictorial worksheets. Since Hindi is our mother tongue thus identifying the picture and its pronunciation comes easily.

Teaching matras needs patience and time. Rather than asking them to write the words, ask them to fill matra in the blanks.

This method helps them to overcome their fear of writing and learning Hindi alphabets.

Let children enjoy their writing tasks of learning matra Aa/आ .
