Fun with words – 2 One/Many - ( एक/अनेक )

While kids are busy learning to tackle the language exercises in different ways, here is another set of colourful pictorial worksheets about the concept of singular/plural ( एक/अनेक )

The learning objective is to familiarize them with the concept of one/many and also the naming words, noun. 

They should be encouraged to pronounce the words loudly while matching them.

Later this group activity can be shifted to the collection of objects, counting and writing the number while identifying the names. They should be encouraged to speak loudly the singular and the plural form of the objects. 

Our role as a parent/tutor is very important in these formative years. Kids come up with different queries and our patience pays off when we are able to satisfy their curiosity.

Primary school (Class 1,2,3) – 1 Swar, Vyanjan, Matra

This section of worksheets has jumbled up words and kids have to separate the words as per the instructions given in the sheets.

 These graded worksheets are designed keeping in view that group learning is very effective as it enables kids to improve their thinking skills, motivates them to work in a team, develop communication skills.

Now is the time for the parents/tutors to have patience with little- ones and encourage them to tackle the exercises on their own without fear of failure.

Kids are very observant and once they succeed with one or two exercises rest would be very easy for them to tackle.

Such variety of exercises not only helps them to be observant but they keep revising the varnamala (alphabets) and matras.

Fun with words - 1 Hindi rhyming words ( समान तुक वाले शब्द )

Rhyming words are a great way of learning a language. They help a child to learn new words. It’s fun to learn in a group activity.

While kids do these practice sheets, parents/tutors should make it a point to discuss the meaning of all the rhyming words.

It is not necessary that all words make sense; sometimes nonsensical words are also included in the play way activity.

Some sheets are in the form of the pictorial rhyming words, the words of the images rhyme and kids have to match the correct rhyming pics.

This section is all about making sentences with the help of images in place of words in a sentence.

These are graded worksheets based on the words taken up in practice sheets of matras.

Kids have to write the word in place of the images given in the sentences and complete the sentence and rewrite it.

Shabd Banao – Swar Vyanjan, Matra (Pictorial worksheets)

These pictorial worksheets are practice sheets to fill in the correct alphabet and write the words with the help of given images.
These practice sheets cover all the matras from अ to अं. 

Kids can identify the pictures easily with the help of images and with little guidance, they would start writing the alphabets, correct matras in the given blanks to complete the words. I'm sure kids would enjoy these colourful worksheets.

Swar Vyanjan - Words with matra of Ri ( ऋ ki matra )

Ri / ऋ  matra is used for Sanskrit words. It is pronounced as ‘Ri’.

The matra of ऋ is placed at the bottom of the alphabet, e.g. – कृ,गृ, पृ.....

The pictorial worksheets include simple two/three letter words. The words included in practice sheets are common words used in the Hindi language.  

Kids can identify the pictures easily in the pictorial worksheets and with little guidance, they would start writing the alphabets, correct matras in the given blanks to complete the words
